Director of Sales
What we are looking for:The Director of Sales is responsible for meeting revenue and account growth goals for Electrolux, and Wascomat equipment by owning sales pipeline from conception to execution, while working closely with the Vice President of Sales - LLD on developing and strengthening revenue generating strategies. The Director of Sales will create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.

Back to the role:
What you will do:
Develop and manage new and existing customer accounts for Electrolux, and Wascomat, branded laundry equipment within a defined sales territory.
Meet (and exceed) revenue, profit, and margin objectives.
Develop a thoughtful 3-year sales development plan, including a hiring plan for additional salespeople that would be developed and managed by you.
Provide data input to the company's budget process; implement, use, and promote CRM software as a sales management tool sell through the company's strategic marketing and brand-building initiatives.
Support professionalizing the company's business processes to successfully implement the business plan.
Plan, schedule in advance, and participate in trade shows and sales events in the territory.
Work closely with sales staff to facilitate financing approvals, lease negotiations, contractor coordination, and equipment logistics and ordering.
Utilize the company's ERP system as a sales management professional to manage sales activities and effective use of company resources.
Maintain key customer relationships, engage key stakeholders, develop, and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.
Promote a high level of customer service by managing customers’ expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Supervisory:
Recruit, interviews, hires, and trains new team members.
Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
Manage the performance of the employees in the department (conducts 1:1’s, create goals, and conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive).
What you should have:
Must have outstanding oral, written, and verbal communication/presentation skills as well as strong negotiation skills.
Experience developing data driven forecasts, analytics and KPI’s.
Must have proficient knowledge of CRM software and the ability to utilize daily.
Must have a high level of comfort in communicating with every level of an organization from top level executives to field personnel.
Must possess strong business acumen and professionalism.
Must be financially competent with respect to managing the teams’ budget.
Strong project management skills
Education and Experience:
10+ years of experience managing large account sales/multiple channels of sales and business development teams.
5 years in managing marketing teams, particularly in a B2B or distribution environment.
Highly desired industry vertical experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Travel Required:
Frequent travel: 35-40%
