Jr. Finance & Credit Operations Analyst
The Jr. Finance & Credit Operations Analyst will support the organization’s lending and funding activities by assisting with cash flow forecasting, credit analysis, documentation preparation, and operational coordination. This role is designed to develop strong analytical, financial, and credit‑based skills while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across finance, credit, and funding workflows. The Analyst will work closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain data integrity, support loan processing, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

What you will do:
Assist with forecasting weekly funding needs and support basic cash flow tracking for finance deals.
Help prepare and update funding projections and communicate essential information to internal teams.
Support invoicing tasks by preparing simple proceeds documentation and verifying basic invoice accuracy.
Maintain deal flow sheets, proceeds logs, and other operational tracking tools under guidance from senior staff.
Compile and organize finance and credit data to create straightforward internal reports.
Learn and support credit review processes by gathering financial documents, reviewing customer information, and assisting with basic credit analysis tasks.
Review loan packages, customer documents, and collateral information for completeness and accuracy.
Assist in preparing loan applications and related documentation, including data entry into internal systems.
Verify insurance certificates and supporting materials to ensure required collateral coverage is documented.
Help reconcile customer statements and address simple billing discrepancies.
Prepare documentation for basic loan renewals or extensions with supervision.
Communicate with internal teams to obtain missing information, resolve small discrepancies, and keep processes moving.
Support workflow and documentation improvements by identifying small inefficiencies and sharing observations with management.
Create simple ad hoc worksheets, documents, or reports as requested.
Manage daily tasks with attention to detail while developing greater independence over time.
Assist senior analysts, underwriting, and funding teams with administrative and processing support.
Perform additional entry‑level duties and assist with projects as assigned.
What you should have:
Understanding of loan documentation principles and the perfection of security interests.
Ability to effectively manage time to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
Familiarity with leasing software for efficient management of leases.
Experienced in using Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and analysis.
Highly analytical with strong critical thinking abilities to solve problems.
Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills for effective interactions.
Confident in making and handling phone calls in a professional manner.
Brings energy and enthusiasm to the workplace and team environment.
Must be able learn quickly and adapt to read loan documents
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s in finance or related field is required
1 - 2 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or a related field is expected
0 - 2 years’ experience in equipment financing
