Financial Business Analyst
What we are looking for: The Financial Business Analyst plays a critical role in analyzing business processes, operational performance, and supporting data to drive informed decision-making across our commercial laundry operations. This role serves as a strategic partner to Sales, Operations, and Leadership by translating complex operational and pricing data into clear insights, recommendations, and tools that improve efficiency, competitiveness, and profitability.
The ideal candidate is a strong business analyst with a solid understanding of cost drivers and margin dynamics, and the ability to design dashboards, reporting, and analytical frameworks using Power BI and Excel.

What you will do:
Business & Operational Analyst
Analyze end-to-end business processes across quoting, pricing, sales execution, and operational delivery to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Partner with Sales and Operations to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Evaluate how pricing, discounting, service tiers, and product configurations impact operational performance and customer profitability.
Analyze pricing structures, discounting practices, and margin performance across customer types, markets, and service models.
Collect and analyze data from quoting tools, ERP systems, and operational platforms to identify margin leakage and profitability trends.
Develop and maintain pricing and profitability frameworks that support consistent, data-backed decision-making.
Perform scenario and impact analysis for pricing changes, equipment upgrades, and new service offerings.
Reporting, Dashboards & Decision Support
Design and maintain Power BI dashboards that track key business and pricing metrics such as average selling price, floor vs. target pricing, revenue mix, and margin performance.
Translate complex datasets into clear, intuitive visualizations and executive-ready insights.
Prepare monthly and quarterly business performance reports highlighting trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
Create executive presentations (PowerPoint, charts, tables) to communicate findings, recommendations, and outcomes.
Data & Systems Enablement
Support automation and integration of reporting across ERP, CRM, POS, and operational systems.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment across departments and reporting tools.
Document assumptions, methodologies, and business logic used in analysis and dashboards.
What you should have:
Strong business analysis mindset with the ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, Power Query, relational data modeling, KPI visualization, and scheduled reporting.
Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and macros.
Solid understanding of cost drivers in operational environments (labor, utilities, rent, chemicals, equipment depreciation)
Ability to integrate and analyze large datasets from ERP, CRM, POS, route management, and quoting systems.
Experience with SQL or Python for advanced analysis (preferred)
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills — able to influence decisions across executive and field-level stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
3+ years of experience in a business analyst, financial analyst, or analytics role, preferably in commercial laundry, industrial services, manufacturing, or a related operational environment
