Area Sales Representative
What we are looking for:
Develop and manage new and existing customers for the commercial laundry industry. The goal is to expand sales opportunities within the commercial laundry space across the vended and OPL (On-Premise Laundry) segments. The primary focus will be the growth and expansion of sales within the Electrolux, Wascomat and Hero territories.
Responsibilities span the entire sales process—from identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to finalizing installations and providing customer training.

Back to the role:
What you will do:
- Professional Sales approach consisting of a value-based/consultative sales attitude
- An organized and detailed approach to territory management
- Develop deep expertise in the commercial laundry industry and products. Read and interpret technical specifications, architectural drawings, and construction plans.
- Consistent site visits all potential customers with drop off marketing brochures and accumulates customer information to add to the database
- Record all site visits daily with detailed notes for CRM management. Provide CRM updates to advance the sales process.
- Maintain, manage, and report on sales pipeline.
- Deliver all information and quotes to customers as required for all Sales Leads in the expected time frame
- Participate as needed in industry trade shows and events to drive sales activity.
- Establish, maintain, and review goals during allocated review/planning meetings. (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly)
- Coordinate purchase orders, product shipments, and equipment installations to meet customer timelines and fulfill sales.
- Responsible for entering Chain equipment and ancillary orders into Epicor.
- Responsible for overseeing on-site chain installs when needed.
- Participate as needed in industry trade shows and events to drive sales activity.
What you should have:
- Strategic thinker with expertise in prospecting: new business development, direct sales, account management, and strategic planning.
- Unwavering ability to deliver the best possible experience to customers and prospects in your daily work activities.
- Communication proficiency and strong presentation skills
- Customer Focused - detail-oriented, well organized
- Ability to learn technical aspects of commercial laundry industry and equipment
- Weekly travel by auto to reach assigned market areas.
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, CRM software with the ability to learn other software programs
- Out of state travel required for training, sales meetings, trade events
- Unwavering ability to deliver the best possible experience to customers and prospects in your daily work activities.
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years’ experience in prospecting: new business development, or direct sales.
- A background in equipment sales, construction, or machinery sales is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.

- Yes
Salary Range:
$65,000-$75,000 Depending on Experience.
OTE $100,000 +
