Accountant

What we are looking for:

The Accountant will be part of a corporate team that is building a diverse network of distributors in the commercial laundry industry. This position will be responsible for assisting the business in multiple projects and assignments on a monthly and as needed basis. The Accountant will manage multiple accounting projects and contribute to the distribution companies’ productive environment.

Back to the role:

What you will do:

• Manage month end close process for subsidiary companies
• Prepare monthly margin analysis for management for all business segments
• Provide analysis on monthly financial statements
• Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist operations team in resolving issues on site
• Monitor and enforce corporate policy and directives
• Monitor and reconcile cash on a timely basis including completion of bank rec monthly
• Assist Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable managers with matter relating to the subsidiaries they manage
• Partner with local operations for AR Invoicing and customer follow-up
• Assist in Inventory Control and review
• Partner with Controller to create annual budget
• Calculates sales commissions
• Monitor corporate credit card usage
• Assists with audits as needed
• Perform other duties/projects assigned

What you should have:

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• Experience with Epicor or another ERP system
• Team player with a good attitude
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Proficient in Excel including pivot tables and vlookup
• Travel to the businesses up to 10% of time required
