Order Verification Specialist
What we are looking for:
An Order Verification Specialist is responsible for the order verification process. This role focuses on accurately verifying customer purchase orders (PO) and signed sales quotes in Epicor. This position reports to the Director of Customer Care.

Back to the role:
What you will do:
- Perform order verification on orders before they reach Accounting, Logistics, or other internal stakeholders.
- Verify pricing and discounts using current price book and discount documentation.
- Provide sales order acknowledgement from the Epicor system.
- Attach all related documents to the sales order. Utilize notes and comment fields to further communicate with anyone who views the sales order.
- Update orders to ensure accuracy before reaching other internal teams
- Ensure accurate entry of POs by following up with customers regarding incomplete information or discrepancies.
- Provide professional and prompt communication throughout the order process to both internal and external individuals.
- Acts as a backup for Order Entry - entering detailed sales orders into Epicor including correct PNC’s, pricing, discounts, special sales programs, addresses, territory, mark for, order type, quantity, etc.
- Crosstrain in Parts to help process orders or cover parts phone queue, as needed.
- Perform other duties as needed by management.
What you should have:
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years of detailed order entry experience in a sales support environment, manufacturing experience a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Proven track record to multi-task with shifting priorities.
- Self-driven, high energy, and results-oriented with a clear focus on providing WORLD CLASS SERVICE.
- Must have a strong business acumen, professionalism, work ethic, and sense of urgency to accurately complete tasks.
- Excellent verbal, active listening, and written skills.
- Take pride and ownership to build and maintain strong business relationships by providing superior customer care to our distributors, end-users, and co-workers. Offer NO excuses or place blame on others. Promote a Win-Every-Deal attitude.
- Exemplify our CORE principles: Control, Ownership, Reach, and Endurance
- College preferred.
- Bilingual a plus.
Salary Range:
$45,000-$50,000 per year
Hours:
8:30am-5:00 pm EST
