Accountant
What we are looking for:
The Accountant's responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. The Accountant will be responsible for assisting the Accounting Team in multiple projects and assignments on a monthly and individually occurring basis. This position reports to the Assistant Controller of Laundrylux

Back to the role:
What you will do:
- Create and distribute weekly units reports for management
- Complete monthly close including journal entries, work papers, and other supporting schedules while ensuring accuracy
- Perform daily invoicing functions
- Assist in preparation/analysis of financial statements
- Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
- Prepare monthly margin reports, for different segments of the business
- Assist with annual external audit
- Assist to implement policies and procedures to create efficiencies
- Prepare bank reconciliations as needed
- Assist in backing up critical functions such as cash receipts to customer accounts and accounts payable
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned by management
What you should have:
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- Experience with Epicor or another ERP systems a plus
- Team player with a good attitude
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel including pivot tables and vlookup
Salary Range:
$70,000 to $80,000 plus bonus
