Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant will be part of a corporate team that is building a diverse network of distributors in the commercial laundry industry. This position will be responsible for assisting the business in multiple projects and assignments on a monthly and as needed basis.
The Senior Accountant will manage multiple accounting projects and contribute to the distribution companies’ productive environment.
ORGANIZATION:
This position reports to the Controller of Laundrylux Distribution
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage month end close process for subsidiary companies
- Prepare monthly margin analysis for management
- Prepare monthly financial statements and analysis
- Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist operations team in resolving issues on site
- Monitor and enforce corporate policy and directives
- Monitor and reconcile cash on a timely basis including completion of bank rec monthly
- Assist Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable managers with matter relating to the subsidiaries they manage
- Partner with local operations for AR Invoicing and customer follow-up
- Assist in Inventory Control and review
- Partner with Controller to create annual budget and reforecasts
- Monitor corporate credit card usage
- Perform other duties/projects assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- Experience with Epicor or another ERP systems a plus
- Team player with a good attitude
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel including pivot tables and vlookup
- Travel to the businesses up to 10% of time required
